EMOTIONAL FITNESS VIA FACE-TO-FACE GROUP PLAY AND WONDER

Villages once had to commune at its wells to source water to nourish themselves and their family’s bodily health.

As modern times have accustomed us to become more independent of each other, we have lost the connection and the unity involved in caring for one another empathically.

The SocialWell Collective is a world-wide community of people (neighbours) aiming to replenish our mental ‘wells’ by nurturing resilience through togetherness, empathic play and social bonding.

We believe the source of vitality and life is replenished when we nourish our mental well-being on an ongoing basis. Simple things like play and socializing in-person can have positive effects on our mood.

Based on Paula M. Toledo’s ‘H.A.T.S. Off’ model (Humanity, Arts/Awareness, Travel (Discovery) and Sport (Recreation/Nature) of self-compassion and daily mental well-being rituals, The SocialWell Collective aims to promote true connection through activities that make people feel less lonely and isolated from family, friends, peers and work colleagues.
